Knowledge and friendship that will lasts forever

My name is Chananya Saksri, a fourth-year student from Faculty of Arts at Silpakorn University. I am majoring in French and minoring in English. I am doing my internship with LT TextNova as a trainee translator.

          The reason why I chose to do my internship with LT TextNova is because I wanted to improve my translation skill. I believe that if I can translate correctly, I will understand exactly what the texts need to convey and also can communicate better. This skill is very useful with my study and work in my future. At first I was very nervous because I am not majoring in English. I am afraid of doing lots of mistakes in translation and not having enough abilities to do this job. However, this is the only way to prove myself that I can do it. Therefore, I decided to apply for internship here.

          After doing my internship with LT TextNova for 2 months, I have learned many things and got lots of experiences. For example, I have learned a number of new vocabularies in various contexts, keyboard shortcuts and new programs that I never use before like SDL Trados Studio 2011, Xbench, SDLXLIFF Compare, etc. Besides, I can translate better and quicker when I see English texts. Moreover, I like this office very much because all colleagues are friendly and kind and in the office is pretty quiet that helps me concentrate more in translation. By the way, what I have got from LT TextNova is not only knowledge and experience, but also friendship that will lasts forever.
